Pastor Jeff began his ministry at FBG in 2016.  He and his wife Shelly have been married for 25 years, and have Ally and Jack in college.  Jeff always has his door open for visitors, and loves to spend time with the people of FBG.  Jeff got an M.DIV at Southwestern Baptist Seminary, and his D.MIN at Gateway Baptist Seminary.  He usually teaches through books of the Bible, and believes he is here to share what God has to tell us about living a joyful and committed life to Jesus.  When not at church, you will probably find him on a country road riding his bicycle talking about Jesus with the people he meets along the way.

Daniel & Lisa Jones joined FBG in 2021. They have been married for 27 years and have two adult sons, Micah and Tanner; and one daughter in high school, Clara. Over the past twenty years, Daniel and his family have served as missionaries in Mexico, in Private Education, and in local churches in Cooke County. Daniel has a Bible College degree, a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Liberty, and is currently working on a MDIV at Southwestern. Lisa has a Bachelor’s in Education from Liberty and a Master’s in Education from TWU. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, watching movies, woodworking, and gardening.

Travis has been serving at FBG since October of 2021 &  has been in Student and Worship ministry in some form or fashion since 2004. He studied Christian Leadership and Music at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
Travis enjoys live music and capturing God’s creation on camera.

Kate has been married to her childhood sweetheart, Shaden, for 11 years, and they have three kids—Oliver, Jack, and Lydia. She has a bachelors degree in both English and History from the University of Mississippi (Hotty Toddy!), and taught high school English before joyfully becoming a homemaker. Kate loves reading, antique shopping, hosting friends, and going all-out for any kind of dress-up activity!

Shelly loves talking to anybody & everybody. She’s also a fan of walking, Jazzercise, reading, coffee, and sweets. Shelly has been working in children’s ministry for over 40 years and loves it! Shelly and Pastor Jeff have been married for 25 years and they have two kids away at school, Ally & Jack.

Sharon (and her late husband Kent) have three sons, Johnny (Misty), Brian (Rose) and Kris (Marsha).  She has 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grands that she adores!!! She loves sports, traveling, camping, baking, rodeos and any event with the family. Sharon has worked with the youth, children's choirs, ladies ministries, and wherever needed here at church. She considers the time spent here such a blessing.

Eddie retired after 40 years of serving as a community college administrator. Prior to his community college career, he served in the U.S. Navy, received a doctorate in counseling, and taught in the public schools for two years. He and Donna have been married for 54 years; have two children and two grandsons. Eddie enjoys playing golf and fishing. In addition to serving as the Senior Adult Activities Coordinator, he is an active deacon at FBC and teaches a Sunday school class.
